12 July 2017 – ‘Ben-Gurion University of the Negev’ meets ‘CUT’

Dr Shimrit Maman, Research, Associate and Laboratory manager from the Earth and Planetary Image Facility (EPIF) of the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev visited the ‘Remote Sensing & Geo-Environment Lab’/ ERATOSTHENES Research Centre at the Cyprus University of Technology from 10th of July to 15 July 2017. During the visit Dr Shimrit Maman had the opportunity to come across with the various activities of the group for the last 10 years in the areas of earth observation. Based on the existing MOU between the two universities, it was agreed to further promote common activities between the two groups. Presentation of the EXCELSIOR Teaming project has been made by Prof. Diofantos G. Hadjimitsis. Dr Mammouri, Dr Nisantzi and Dr Themistocleous during the meeting with Dr Maman.
