The Mediterranean Regional Information Network (MedRIN) held its Kick-off Meeting on 13 & 14 at Chania, in Greece organized by NASA Internships.
MedRIN aims to serve as a liaising network of remote sensing scientists. Cyprus joins the network!
The aim of these networks is the cooperation of institutions from the participating countries in order to optimally exploit the latest technological developments in the field of Earth Observation, with satellite data from the European Space Agency (ESA) and NASA. The network includes researchers from Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Turkey and Israel, and is expected to expand with institutions from Lebanon, Egypt and other North African and Middle Eastern countries.
