During the 4th coordination meeting of the DECATASTROPHIZE project in Alcala de Henares (Madrid) in Spain during 21st and 22nd of June 2017, the team members of the CUT group promotes EXCELSIOR. DECATASTROPHIZE is directly related to EXCELSIOR since it aims in using geo-spatial decision support systems for rapid deployment, interoperability, transferability and sustainability to assess disasters and environment al incidents by using existing models/systems in a synergic way on one multi-platform. As a result, EXCELSIOR was disseminated among DECAT’s partners and was met with enthusiasm by many of the organizations. DECAT project is coordinated by the ‘Remote Sensing and Geo-Environment Lab/Eratosthenes Research Centre’.
